    What is a Reverse Big Bang?
    A Reverse Bang is a fanart/fanfic challenge like to a Big Bang, only with the fanart created first to inspire the fic.

    Are Minors allowed in this bang?
    Yes, minors will be allowed to participate in this bang and will not have access to NSFW content.

    Can traditional artists participate in this bang?
    Yes, traditional artists are allowed, but must be able to post their art online.

    Do the songs have to be for a ship?
    No! While Monogamous and Polyamorous ships are all allowed, you can also have songs centered around Queer Platonic relationships, as well as friendships.

    I'm an adult that doesn't want to work with a minor. Will you allow that preference?

    Yes, we will let both minors and adults put down their partner preferences. We won't force minors or adults to work with each other if they don't want to.

    I already have a partner in mind, can we join as a team instead of going through the partner pairing process?

    Yes, if you have a partner in mind, you can join as a pre-paired team.

    Why don't you allow all ships?

    We aren't here to ship shame. We allow a majority of ships in BNHA. We just don't allow minor/adult ships, child/child NSFW, or Incest because those topics are highly illegal.

    Are AUs allowed?

    Yes, AUs are allowed. We encourage contributors to interpret the music in any way they want.

    Guidelines & Rules

    General Rules
    1) Be respectful of others.
    2) NSFW stays in NSFW. Minors are not allowed in NSFW spaces.
    3) All content must be new for this event [sequels/prequels are fine, as long as they have not been published]
    4) Dead Dove content will not be allowed, nor will Minor/Adult and Incest ships.

    Bang Specific
    1) When submitting song selections, artists should send in 3 songs with 3 ships. The ships can be the same or different; it's up to them.
    2) Songs containing slurs or hate speech may not be used; however if you can find a clean edit version, then that is acceptable.
    3) Writers' minimum word count is 4k. Artists must provide a fully colored illustration (background is optional).

    How it Works
    Artist Song Submissions: Artists will be asked to submit 3 songs with a pairing for each song that they wouldn't mind drawing for. You can choose the same ship for all 3 songs, or you can choose different romantic ships. In addition to the songs and ships, artists will be able to describe the piece they want to draw, as well as the genre they want the fic to be.
    Artists will also be able to submit any triggers/tags/ratings they won't work with to better match partners here.

    Song Viewing: After song submissions close, songs will then be anonymously organized by ship. Writers will be able to see all the song/ship pairings and choose which ones they most want to write for. Writers can interpret the lyrics however they want, but please keep close to the music source.

    Song Selection: Writers will fill out a form with their top 10 songs/ships. Matching will be first come first serve. If a writer doesn't get their top pick, mods will go down the list of top 10 picks until they can assign an artist. Artists will only be assigned one writer unless stated that they are fine with drawing for 2 writers. Writers will be able to submit any triggers/tags/ratings they won't work with to better match partners here.

    Partner Announcements: Writers and Artists will be paired and work on their pieces for the song and ship. Word count and length of the bang will depend on the Interest Check below.

    Check-Ins: Partners will be asked to check in a few times before the posting date to ensure no one has dropped or falling behind.

    Posting: Writers will post their fic on AO3 with a note about the song that inspired the fic. The art created by the artist must also be embedded into the fic.
